Upon realizing it, I went back to the room to retrieve it.
Sadly, I left a pretty expensive, and highly sentimental Emerald and Diamond ring on the nightstand in my room. Having said that, we also should NOT have to be concerned that we can't trust the people who are supposedly vetted, and allowed into our rooms.
I have NEVER done it before, however mistakes happen. Let me begin by saying that I know BETTER than to EVER leave valuables in a hotel room. I waited to give ample time to get a response from Richard in Hotel Loss-Prevention.
